New to the staff this year is Mrs. Heather Crafts was born in
Mt. Pleasant and raised in the Talco/Sugar Hill area. She attended
Rivercrest High School, and then went to Northeast Texas Community
College to earn an Associates of Science. She then transferred to
Texas A&M University in Texarkana and earned a Bachelor of
Science in mathematics. Currently Mrs. Crafts is attending
LeTournuea University in Longview. This is her fourth year to teach
mathematics.
She married to Anthony 9 years ago merging two families into one.
Ms Crafts brings to the marriage, twin girls Brooke and Sidney who
are 15 years old and 14 year old Joseph. Anthony brought one
daughter, 15 year old Brittney.
Mrs. Crafts states that "being allowed to teach and nurture
students in essential skills and knowledge, has been a source of
great pleasure, as well as an interesting challenge."
