Ms Kathy Ford

Ms. Kathy Ford is our Special Education Instructor and Jr. High Reading teacher. She is known as The Reigning Empress of Reading. She received her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M at Texarkana and is in her ninth year of teaching. Her love for reading is passed on to her Jr. High students through instruction and her belief that education is "the way of developing our greatest abilities". Ms. Ford knows that each one of her "students has a hope and a dream which must be nurtured and developed so that her students can fulfill their destiny."

Ms. Ford not only loves reading, but she loves animals. At this time she has 16 dogs and cats that she calls her children. If she sees a stray kitten or dog, Ms Ford will take it home to care for it.
